We are a voluntary association that provides a networked learning environment in health professions education. We create opportunities and provide platforms for capacity building in health professions education, research and leadership. We pride ourselves on being a caring association that values and respects the connections required for inclusivity, excellence, integrity, and relevance.
AHPEL continues the work of the Sub-Saharan African FAIMER Regional Institute (SAFRI) and has a rich history of developing health professions educators and leaders on the sub-continent.
